Regarding sizes, The C30 is mostly used in models where there is little space to install a C50. The larger the size the more time you have to land but all models will give you plenty for landing for any size helicopter.
The unit is now also compatible with 12V systems. When connected to a 12V system, it will charge up to 8.4V and then stop charging so that the capacitors are not damaged and then if the need arises it will provide 8.4V in an emergency.
